Repeal Dec 5th 1933
RAISE A GLASS TO THE 21st AMENDMENT!

On December 5th, 1933, after a 14 year dry spell, President Franklin D. Roosevelt ratified the amendment to repeal prohibition. To commemorate the occasion my father, August Busch, Jr., presented his father with a six-horse Clydesdale hitch. The Clydesdales commenced a tour of New England to the delight of thousands, eventually stopping in Washington to deliver the first case of beer to the president himself.
