Weekend Wine Seminar – The Versatile Grenache Grape
Weekend Wine Seminar at the Homestead Tasting Room – The Versatile Grenache Grape
Most wine lovers know Grenache as a “Rhône Variety” that is the anchor grape in many famous red French wine blends, but Grenache is much more than just a “member of the band” and is just as exciting as “solo act.” Grenache is also among the oldest known wine grape varieties with a mysterious international history and a family tree that is as diverse as Pinot Noir’s.
Join us for a one-hour exploration of this fascinating grape that Folded Hills has embraced as our cornerstone red variety and taste, along with some of our current release and vintage library Grenache wines.
