As we were talking to Angela Osborne about the potential job as winemaker for Folded Hills, she told us in no uncertain terms, “If you are chasing points, I’m not your winemaker.” We assured her that our goal was a heartfelt project, concentrating on making a pure glass of wine which reflected the land on which it was grown.

We released our first estate wine, our Lilly Rosé in the spring of 2017. The following August, Angela called us, and - through tears -told us that our Lilly Rosé had been chosen by Wine and Spirits Magazine as one of the Top Rosés of 2017, and that Folded Hills had been named The California Winery to watch. Since then we have won many accolades and awards, which brings us a huge amount of joy.
