Just to the northeast of our vineyard lies the ranch, both a bucolic retreat and the working quarters for our cattle and horse operation.

At the helm, we are grateful to have ranch manager Zack oversee this vital working aspect of Folded Hills. The combination of Zack’s work ethic and unique skill set coupled with his humble demeanor, may have been more common in the early 1900s but have become a modern-day anomaly. He’s an indispensable part of our ranch. From a family that has been ranching for five generations, Zack grew up working with both horses and cattle, while also farming vineyards. He went on to major in animal science, and even did a stint in professional bull riding, working in rodeos.
